Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Haryana Steelers becomes first team to qualify for PKL 11 playoffs

Haryana Steelers on Wednesday became the first team to qualify for the Pro Kabaddi League 11 playoffs after defeating Bengaluru Bulls 37-26.

Prior to the match against the Bulls, the Steelers was on top of the PKL 11 points table with just four losses in the 18 matches played and 72 points.

It was a complete team effort for Haryana Steelers, with Vinay and Shivam Patare combining for 15 points, while Jaideep and Rahul got four tackle points each and Mohammadreza Shadloui scored six points to wrap up a comprehensive display.

Despite being out of the playoff contention, Bengaluru Bulls showed the fighting spirit it possesses. Jatin got two points on a Do-or-Die Raid for his side.

Haryana Steelers was controlling proceedings at the start of the second half, almost on the verge of inflicting an ALL OUT, before Parteek executed a Super Raid for Bengaluru Bulls. Haryana Steelers eventually inflicted the ALL OUT on its opponents.

The Steelers are yet to win their first Pro Kabaddi League title. The closest they came was last season when Haryana lost out to Puneri Paltan in the final.
