Korean veteran Jang Kun Lee is back with Bengal Warriors after two seasons. The franchise signed him for Rs 13 lakh at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 auction in Mumbai on Sunday.
Jang first joined Bengal Warriors in 2018, becoming the first overseas player in PKL history to score 400 raid points. Over seven seasons, he has accumulated 471 raid points, 25 tackle points, and 9 Super 10s.
In 2017, Jang was the most valuable foreign player in the league after Warriors retained him for Rs 80.3 lakh. He later moved to Patna Pirates in Season 7 for Rs 40 lakh, where he played until last year.
Meanwhile, UP Yoddhas signed Jang’s compatriot Dong Geon Lee for Rs 13.5 lakh. Dong is returning to the league after a three-year gap, his last appearance coming with Gujarat Giants in 2022.
