Injured Manika Batra ruled out of UTT Season 6, Ayhika Mukherjee named as replacement

Indian paddler Manika Batra has withdrawn from the sixth edition of Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) due to an injury. She will be replaced by Ayhika Mukherjee in the Ahmedabad SG Pipers squad.

Manika is currently undergoing rehab for an injury she picked up during the recently concluded Table Tennis World Championships 2025.

In the tournament, the 29-year-old, then ranked 46 in the world (now 47), lost to lower-ranked Park Gahyeon (64) in the round of 64.

In UTT’s first-ever auction, Manika Batra was signed by Ahmedabad SG Pipers after PBG Pune Jaguars released the star paddler.
